World Vision’s 30 Hour Famine

The 30 Hour Famine is a youth program at World Vision that supports youth leaders around the country looking for events to help kids learn about hunger around the world. I started working on this website in the summer of 2012 as lead designer, tasked to create a new and simple look for the program, that could be useable for three years. We lost our project manager during the last part of our initial build phase, weeks before launch. I stepped in to manage the project between both client and developers, and continued with that additional role for a few weeks before we could find a replacement. My role included site architecture, UX/UI design, web design, and some front-end development.
